About the Role
Sun King is the world's leading off-grid solar energy provider, powering millions of homes across Africa and Asia. We are currently looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Store Executive to join our team in Sapele, Delta State. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our retail store operates efficiently by managing inventory, maintaining high standards of store presentation, performing basic technical repairs, and delivering exceptional customer service to walk-in clients.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, track, and manage inventory from the central warehouse while adhering to FIFO standards.
- Maintain accurate and updated online logs for Goods Received and Goods Issued, alongside daily cycle counts.
- Manage spare parts inventory, handle re-orders, and consolidate faulty stock for disposal.
- Prepare comprehensive daily on-hand stock and replacement reports for internal stakeholders.
- Take custody of repair toolkits, perform diagnostic checks on faulty units, and conduct basic in-warranty repairs.
- Ensure the store environment, shop floor SKU arrangement, and repair workbench remain tidy and strictly compliant with safety protocols.
- Welcome walk-in customers, assess warranty eligibility for returned components, and assist Energy Officers with customer queries.
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from a recognized institution in a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in store management, inventory control, or a related role.
- Strong computer literacy with working proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel for accurate report writing.
- Demonstrated high levels of integrity, problem-solving skills, and a positive, proactive attitude.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Familiarity with Sun King products and local territory knowledge in Sapele will be a distinct advantage.
