About the Role
Nepal Energy, a leader in the importation, warehousing, and distribution of petroleum products in Nigeria, is currently seeking a reliable and professional Station Cashier for our Kwale retail outlet. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining financial integrity by managing daily transactions, securing cash assets, and providing prompt service to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and process payments for fuel, lubricants, and other station products using cash, POS terminals, and bank transfers.
- Reconcile daily cash collections against sales records and prepare accurate shift reports.
- Maintain strict financial accountability, ensuring personal and company funds are never mixed.
- Provide courteous and professional assistance to customers while escalating any transaction disputes to the Station Manager.
- Operate and secure payment terminals, reporting any technical or connectivity issues promptly.
- Comply with all company financial controls, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
- Minimum of OND in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Proven work experience as a cashier, teller, or in a similar retail finance role, preferably within the downstream oil and gas sector.
- Strong numerical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in operating POS terminals and electronic payment systems.
