About the Role
Jaza Energy, a pioneering last-mile clean energy company powering off-grid communities through solar charging stations and battery rentals, is seeking a driven Star Development Coordinator to join our expansion team in Kogi, Nigeria. In this impactful role, you will champion our mission by recruiting, training, and onboarding local sales agents (Jaza Stars) who will manage our community hubs and deliver exceptional service to rural customers.
Key Responsibilities- Drive end-to-end recruitment campaigns to attract competent local talent for new expansion sites in Kogi.
- Conduct thorough in-person interviews, classroom training, and on-site training sessions for all Jaza Star recruits.
- Maintain, evaluate, and provide improvement feedback on training materials in collaboration with QA Expansion Operations.
- Manage complete onboarding administration, including contract execution, dashboard registration, and digital document archiving.
- Leverage local networks and community connections to position Jaza Energy as an employer of choice in remote areas.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in rural talent acquisition and community-based recruitment strategies.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to navigate limited candidate pools and manage local hiring pipelines.
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills with fluency in local dialects as a strong advantage.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently to remote and off-grid locations.
