About the Role
Jaza Energy is a leading last-mile energy company building innovative solar charging stations and renting batteries in off-grid communities. We are currently looking for a passionate and results-driven Star Development Coordinator to join our team in Kaduna. In this vital role, you will spearhead the recruitment, training, and onboarding of competent local sales agents, known as Jaza Stars, for our expanding network of new sites. Key Responsibilities- Advertise open Jaza Star positions extensively and monitor candidate pipelines to meet recruitment criteria.
- Plan and coordinate all logistics for interviews, classroom training, and on-site training sessions for new recruits.
- Conduct thorough in-person interviews, deliver engaging training, and recommend improvements to training materials.
- Collaborate with QA Expansion Operations to keep training materials updated and relevant.
- Manage end-to-end onboarding, including registering new hires on dashboards and apps, signing contracts, and maintaining accurate registries.
- Build strong local networks and position Jaza Energy as an employer of choice in rural communities.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in rural talent acquisition and full-cycle recruitment in remote environments.
- Strong ability to leverage local networks, community connections, and regional job boards.
- Excellent in-person interviewing skills with the ability to assess technical skills and cultural fit.
- Strong problem-solving, planning, and prioritization skills to manage limited candidate pools.
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building abilities within close-knit communities.
- Fluency in local languages or dialects relevant to Kaduna and surrounding rural areas.
- Willingness to work independently and travel frequently to remote project locations.
