About the Role
Jaza Energy is a pioneering last-mile energy company dedicated to building solar-powered charging stations and renting batteries in off-grid communities. We are currently seeking a motivated and results-driven Star Development Coordinator to join our expanding team in Delta State. In this pivotal role, you will be the driving force behind acquiring, training, and onboarding competent local sales agents, known as Jaza Stars, for our newly established sites. Key Responsibilities- Drive the end-to-end recruitment process by extensively advertising open Jaza Star positions for new expansion sites.
- Monitor candidate pipelines to ensure criteria for interviews and training are consistently met.
- Coordinate and execute in-person interviews, classroom training, and on-site training sessions for potential recruits.
- Identify training gaps, recommend improvements to training materials, and collaborate with QA Expansion Operations to keep resources updated.
- Manage comprehensive onboarding procedures, including Star App setup, dashboard registration, contract execution, and document archiving.
- Leverage local networks and community connections to position Jaza Energy as an employer of choice in rural areas.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in rural talent acquisition and managing full-cycle recruitment in resource-limited environments.
- Strong ability to conduct in-person interviews and assess candidates for cultural fit and technical aptitude.
- Exceptional interpersonal, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills to establish trust within close-knit communities.
- Familiarity with local languages or dialects in Delta State is a significant advantage.
- Ability to work independently and travel frequently to remote project locations.
