About the Role
Sportivation Radio, a premier digital sports station launched in Lagos by Sportivation Media, is looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Sports Analyst to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will research, analyze, and discuss local and international sports events, contributing to our mission of delivering timely and credible sports conversations to our growing audience.
Key Responsibilities- Research, analyze, and report on local and international sporting events with accuracy and depth.
- Participate in live radio broadcasts, talk shows, and digital podcast segments as an expert analyst.
- Develop engaging sports content, match previews, post-match reviews, and statistical breakdowns.
- Collaborate with producers and on-air personalities to brainstorm compelling topics and guest appearances.
- Stay up-to-date with current sports news, trends, and athlete statistics to provide fresh perspectives.
- Relevant educational qualifications in Journalism, Mass Communication, Sports Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sports analysis, journalism, or sports broadcasting.
- Deep knowledge of football and a wide range of other sports disciplines.
- Exceptional verbal communication skills with a confident and engaging on-air presence.
- Proximity to the preferred axis (residents living between Berger and Redemption Camp are strongly encouraged to apply).
