About the Role
Golden Bell's Multi Concepts (GBMC) Limited, a premier hospitality consulting and management firm, is looking for a meticulous and hardworking Spa Cleaner to join our dynamic team in Port Harcourt. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all spa areas, treatment rooms, relaxation zones, and restroom facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and aesthetic appeal. You will play a vital role in creating a serene, welcoming, and spotless environment for our esteemed guests, ensuring their spa experience is relaxing and hygienic from the moment they arrive.
Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of all spa treatment rooms, relaxation lounges, steam rooms, saunas, and locker facilities between guest appointments.
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness of restrooms, showers, and vanity areas, ensuring an adequate supply of fresh towels, robes, and toiletries at all times.
- Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and sorting spa linens, towels, and robes according to strict hygiene protocols.
- Dispose of waste properly, empty trash bins regularly, and restock cleaning supplies and guest amenities as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards in the spa facility immediately to the management team.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff.
- Minimum of a SSCE, OND, or relevant academic qualification from a recognized institution.
- Proven professional experience working as a cleaner, housekeeper, or custodian, preferably within a luxury spa, hotel, or hospitality setting.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of work.
- Good communication skills and a courteous, professional demeanor.
- Physical stamina to handle standing, bending, and lifting tasks associated with cleaning and laundry duties.
