Danferd Specialist Clinic, a fully equipped private hospital providing comprehensive round-the-clock healthcare services in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Sonographer to join our professional medical team. In this vital role, you will provide accurate diagnostic ultrasound imaging to support our patients and medical practitioners.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality diagnostic sonographic examinations according to standard hospital protocols.
- Operate ultrasound equipment proficiently to obtain diagnostic images of various organs and tissues.
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and proper positioning throughout the scanning procedure.
- Review ultrasound images for quality and clinical adequacy before forwarding them to radiologists or attending physicians.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document clinical findings clearly in the hospital management system.
- Keep ultrasound equipment clean, properly calibrated, and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Must be a graduate with a valid post-NYSC certificate.
- Relevant experience in medical sonography will be a distinct advantage.
- Must be computer literate with the ability to use hospital management software and digital imaging systems.
- Proximity to the clinic is essential; candidates must live within a convenient commuting distance to Port Harcourt.
