Feetal Hospital & Maternity Home is a reputable and modern private medical facility located in the vibrant Lekki/Ajah axis of Lagos. We specialize comprehensively in maternal, neonatal, and reproductive health, offering a wide range of services from advanced fertility solutions to dedicated pediatric care. As part of our continuous expansion, we are currently seeking a skilled, compassionate, and professional Sonographer to join our newly built facility on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality diagnostic obstetric, gynecological, and general ultrasound scans in accordance with established hospital protocols.
- Operate and maintain sophisticated ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper calibration, safety, and hygiene standards are met.
- Provide clear, accurate, and timely sonographic reports to attending physicians to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure strict confidentiality of all medical information.
- Interact empathetically with patients, particularly expectant mothers, explaining procedures clearly and ensuring their comfort throughout the imaging process.
- Collaborate effectively with obstetricians, gynecologists, nurses, and other medical staff to deliver holistic patient care.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Medical Radiography, Sonography, or a related medical imaging discipline.
- Current and valid practicing license from the relevant regulatory body in Nigeria.
- Proven clinical experience working as a Sonographer, specifically with a strong background in obstetric and gynecological ultrasound.
- Residency within the Lekki-Ajah axis of Lagos or immediate environs is strongly preferred due to work schedule requirements.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and patient management skills.
