Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Social Studies lessons in line with the approved curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages active learning.
- Assess and monitor students' academic progress through tests, assignments, and continuous evaluation.
- Develop instructional materials and teaching aids to enhance students' understanding of social concepts.
- Instill discipline, moral values, and civic responsibility in students.
- Collaborate with other teachers and school administration to achieve academic goals.
- Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development programs.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behaviour.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
- A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), Bachelor of Science (BSc), or Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) in Social Studies or a related field.
- Demonstrated teaching ability and a genuine passion for education.
- Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a structured and disciplined academic environment.
- Willingness to reside in or relocate to Dengi, Kanam LGA, Plateau State.
