About the Role
Korapay is the marketplace for everything payments, allowing businesses and institutions to scale faster by providing a robust core payment engine that eliminates the complications of simple and bulk transactions. We are looking for a dynamic Social Media Associate who can bring Kora's brand to life across its social channels with consistency, personality, and purpose. In this role, you will turn product updates, industry moments, and brand stories into compelling content that resonates deeply with fintech operators, payment companies, developers, and business owners across Nigeria and beyond.
Key Responsibilities- Write and publish on-brand, platform-native content tailored specifically to each social audience.
- Transform long-form resources into social-friendly formats, including engaging carousels, insightful threads, and punchy short-form posts.
- Collaborate closely with the Brand Storyteller to maintain Kora's unique voice and cohesive narrative across all active social channels.
- Manage comprehensive content calendars, publishing schedules, and daily distribution efforts.
- Analyze performance data regularly to drive continuous improvement in content decisions and audience engagement results.
- Possess 1 to 3 years of proven professional experience in social media management or digital content creation, preferably within the tech or fintech sector.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical or financial concepts into accessible, engaging social media narratives.
- Exceptional copywriting, editing, and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools and a data-driven approach to content optimization.
- Strong understanding of major social platforms and emerging digital content trends.
