About the Role
Penafort Energy Limited, an indigenous company operating in the downstream oil and gas and the food and beverage sectors, is seeking a talented and customer-oriented Smoothie, Parfait and Fresh Juice Specialist for our drinks subsidiary. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving fresh, visually appealing, and delicious beverages and snacks while upholding the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve a wide variety of parfaits, smoothies, and freshly squeezed fruit juices following established recipes.
- Wash, peel, cut, and process fruits and perishable ingredients safely and efficiently.
- Create visually appealing parfait combinations using yoghurt, fruits, granola, and nuts to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Monitor stock levels, inventory usage, and product shelf life to minimize waste and ensure proper accountability.
- Maintain immaculate cleanliness of the preparation area, blenders, juicers, utensils, and display units.
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders professionally, answering inquiries, and offering product recommendations.
- Comply strictly with company health, safety, hygiene, and operational procedures.
- Minimum of an SSCE/WAEC qualification.
- 1 to 2 years of proven practical experience in smoothie, parfait, and fresh juice preparation.
- Strong knowledge of fruit handling, preservation, recipe development, and food safety regulations.
- Ability to operate commercial food preparation equipment such as blenders and juicers.
- Exceptional hygiene standards, creativity, communication skills, and attention to detail.
- Food safety or food handling certification will be a distinct advantage.
