About the Role

We are currently looking for a driven and results-oriented SME Loan Officer to join our growing team in Nigeria and help scale our business lending portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Drive the sales and marketing of SME loan products to prospective business clients.
- Manage the end-to-end loan origination process, from prospecting and application to collateral assessment and disbursement.
- Conduct thorough financial and risk evaluations for collateral-backed lending requests.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with SME business owners and key stakeholders.
- Monitor loan performance and ensure timely repayments to maintain a healthy portfolio.
- Achieve and exceed monthly targets for SME loan acquisition and portfolio growth.
- Proven hands-on experience in collateral-backed lending within the Nigerian financial sector.
- Demonstrated success in SME loan sales and business development.
- Deep understanding of the local SME lending market, trends, and risk management practices.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
