Jamub Group is seeking a proactive and technically skilled Site / Project Engineer to join our growing team of professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating on-site activities, liaising with contractors and project stakeholders, and ensuring strict adherence to engineering specifications and timelines. Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily site activities to ensure works are executed according to approved plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Monitor project schedules and timelines, promptly flagging any delays or deviations to management.
- Ensure strict compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and construction best practices.
- Coordinate effectively with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other site personnel.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, identify potential issues, and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, material usage, and daily activity logs.
- Liaise with project managers and other engineers to resolve technical challenges promptly.
- Ensure proper utilisation of manpower, materials, and equipment on site.
- Support cost control efforts by monitoring resource usage against project budgets.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards across all site operations.
- B.Eng., B.Sc., or HND in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in site supervision or project engineering within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and quality standards.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site activities simultaneously.
- Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations in construction environments.
- Membership or eligibility for membership with COREN or NSE is an added advantage.
