About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is recruiting experienced Shift Millers / Shift Leaders / Shift Supervisors to oversee shift operations at a leading aqua feed production facility in Ibadan. This role is ideal for a hands-on production professional who can drive efficient manufacturing of fish and shrimp feed while upholding strict quality, safety, and operational standards.
As a Shift Leader, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth daily operations, effective team supervision, and consistent achievement of production targets in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate daily shift operations in the aqua feed production line.
- Monitor production activities to ensure quality standards and production targets are achieved.
- Oversee the operation of feed milling equipment for fish and shrimp feed production.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures.
- Troubleshoot production and equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Prepare and maintain accurate production and shift reports.
- Lead, train, and supervise production operators during assigned shifts.
- Ensure optimal utilization of manpower and production resources.
- ND / HND in Engineering, Animal Science, Agriculture, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in a Feed Mill, with hands-on experience in Aqua Feed (fish/shrimp feed) production.
- Strong knowledge of feed milling operations, production planning, and quality control.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work shifts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
