About the Role
Minim and Tonye Nigeria Limited is a leading wholly-owned Nigerian infrastructural development and engineering company specializing in civil, electrical, and mechanical works for the onshore and offshore oil and gas sectors. We are currently seeking an exceptional Senior Technical Subject Matter Expert in Construction Management & QA/QC to provide specialist advisory services, technical assurance, and oversight for major upstream projects. In this high-impact role, you will ensure our construction execution and quality management practices strictly adhere to international standards.
Key Responsibilities- Review and provide independent assurance of construction execution strategies, methodologies, and plans for upstream oil and gas projects.
- Assess contractor construction capabilities, resources, work procedures, and overall project execution performance.
- Examine quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and quality procedures.
- Monitor strict compliance with engineering specifications, construction standards, applicable codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee fabrication, installation, welding, mechanical completion, and pre-commissioning activities across onshore and offshore sites.
- Evaluate construction risks, quality deficiencies, non-conformances, and drive effective corrective action plans.
- Mentor construction managers, QA/QC personnel, inspectors, and engineering teams to foster continuous professional development.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications or professional certifications in Construction Management or Quality Management are an advantage.
- Minimum of 25 years of cumulative international upstream oil and gas industry experience.
- Extensive expertise in construction management, fabrication, installation, and quality assurance within major IOC environments.
- Strong knowledge of international construction codes, engineering standards, and quality management systems.
- Proven leadership, communication, and professional mentorship capabilities with strong stakeholder management skills.
