We are seeking a skilled, results-driven Senior Software Engineer to join our technology team in Abuja. In this hybrid role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable software applications, contributing to critical architectural decisions while mentoring fellow engineers to deliver top-tier digital products.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable software applications across frontend and backend systems.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code while translating complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- Build and manage RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless integration with third-party platforms and internal databases.
- Perform database design, optimization, and management across relational and NoSQL database technologies.
- Conduct thorough testing, enforce coding standards through code reviews, and drive CI/CD deployment automation.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and leadership to junior and mid-level developers within the team.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 to 10 years of professional software engineering experience building production-grade applications.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, PHP, or C#.
- Strong command of frontend technologies like React or Angular, and backend frameworks like Node.js, Spring Boot, or Laravel.
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms, microservices architecture, Git workflows, and Agile methodologies.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, technical ownership, and strong collaboration skills.
