About the Role
Join UNICEF Nigeria as a Senior Programme Associate and play a vital role in advancing children's rights and welfare across the nation. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to UNICEF's mission of ensuring survival, development, protection, and participation for all children and women. You will manage critical data systems that directly impact vulnerable populations receiving essential support through our humanitarian programmes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain beneficiary data on the HOPE Management Information System (MIS) platform
- Consolidate data from multiple sources and ensure accuracy and integrity
- Develop and prepare HOPE payment plans aligned with programme objectives
- Reconcile failed payment lists and coordinate resolution with stakeholders
- Collaborate with data officers to collect and verify payment information
- Generate regular reports and analytics for programme monitoring and evaluation
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to inform decision-making
- Support accountability mechanisms and compliance activities
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in administrative, clerical, data management, programme management, or cash transfer work
- Secondary education completion required; tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or Social Sciences highly desirable
- Proficiency with Excel, Database Management Systems (DBMS), and data visualization tools
- Demonstrated experience with management information systems and data collection platforms such as KoBo Collect
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience managing complex datasets across multiple sectors
- Proven experience with UN agencies or NGOs, preferably UNICEF
- Fluent English speaker; knowledge of Arabic, French, Chinese, Russian, Spanish, or local languages is advantageous
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities
