About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and visionary Senior Program Officer for Governance and Leadership to drive our flagship Leadership for Equity, Advocacy and Development (LEAD) Fellowship.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the refinement, design, and execution of the LEAD Fellowship across 10 selected academic and institutional partner locations.
- Oversee the review and expansion of the Campus Champion Manual, virtual learning labs, learning circles, and capstone fellowship sessions.
- Design, coordinate, and manage the Policy Lab, intra-campus competitions, regional semifinals, and the national finale event in Abuja.
- Identify theme-aligned partners and facilitate strategic technical placements for finalist teams within governance and civic organizations.
- Convene multi-stakeholder dialogues, advisory meetings, and inception sessions while brokering strong partnerships with feminist networks and policy actors.
- Maintain robust documentation, knowledge management systems, and impact tracking dashboards for all program outcomes.
- Master’s degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Governance, Gender Studies, Political Science, Law, or a related development discipline.
- 3 to 6 years of progressive professional experience in governance, civic engagement, youth leadership, gender justice, or policy advocacy.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and managing complex multi-institutional programs and fellowship initiatives.
- Strong grounding in feminist principles, power analysis, and systems thinking methodologies.
- Exceptional partnership-building, coalition management, and multi-stakeholder convening capabilities.
- Proven ability to ideate innovative frameworks, translate complex concepts into actionable strategies, and travel as required.
