About the Role
Landmark Africa Group is seeking an experienced Senior Manager Corporate Finance to drive the organisation's capital fundraising strategy and provide expert financial advisory on the Group's development projects. This is a high-impact leadership role for a finance professional ready to shape funding strategy and strengthen stakeholder relationships across banks, financial institutions, and investors.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, and secure funding for the Group's capital projects, including loan refinancing and project financing.
- Engage with banks, financial institutions, pension funds, and other stakeholders to secure competitive financing terms.
- Prepare and present pitch decks, investment memoranda, and proposals for upcoming developments.
- Support Management in decision-making on debt, equity, and funding strategies while identifying and mitigating risk exposures.
- Report on fundraising activities during Management and Board meetings.
- Coordinate drawdown and repayment processes for debt facilities, ensuring compliance with financial covenants and obligations.
- Collaborate with project teams to meet financial and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Develop comprehensive financial models for cash flow forecasting, scenario analysis, and risk assessment.
- Ensure financial models accurately capture revenue, debt, tax, working capital, and investor returns in line with accounting standards.
- Support the Accounts function in reflecting financing needs and decisions accurately within financial statements.
- Provide ongoing strategic advisory support on the Group's broader financing matters.
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in finance, with proven leadership and management capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
- Advanced financial acumen with strong strategic thinking and expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
- In-depth knowledge of risk management, compliance, and internal controls.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting stakeholder relationships.
- Proficiency in financial software and sound understanding of regulatory requirements and corporate finance principles.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic organisational environment and lead effectively across cross-functional teams.
