About the Role
Owolabi University is a newly established, NUC-licensed private university in Osun State, committed to delivering quality higher education and preparing graduates for a dynamic global landscape. We are currently seeking a visionary and dedicated Senior Lecturer in Software Engineering to join our vibrant Faculty of Science and Computing at our take-off site in Osogbo.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Software Engineering and related computing disciplines.
- Mentor, guide, and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students in their academic pursuits and research projects.
- Conduct high-impact research, contributing to the academic profile of the institution through peer-reviewed publications.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental administration, and institutional accreditation processes.
- Foster partnerships with tech industries to enhance practical learning and internship opportunities for students.
- Must possess a PhD Degree from a reputable university in Software Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of six (6) years of post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- Evidence of strong academic leadership and administrative competence.
- Must have a minimum of fifteen (15) scholarly publications in reputable local and international journals within the related field.
