Owolabi University, a newly established private institution licensed by the National Universities Commission (NUC) and located in Osun State, Nigeria, is seeking a dynamic and experienced academic professional to join our vibrant faculty. We invite qualified scholars to apply for the position of Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Science and Computing at our take-off site in Osogbo.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Information Technology and related disciplines.
- Design, update, and develop cutting-edge curriculum content that aligns with global industry standards and NUC guidelines.
- Conduct high-impact research, publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and actively participate in academic conferences.
- Provide mentorship, academic advising, and career guidance to students to foster their holistic academic and professional development.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide administrative duties, committees, and community engagement initiatives.
- Must possess a PhD Degree in Information Technology or a closely related discipline from a reputable and recognized university.
- A minimum of six (6) years of post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- Must have a strong record of academic leadership with at least fifteen (15) scholarly publications in reputable local and international journals.
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, student supervision, and academic administration.
