We are currently looking for a talented and driven Senior Java Developer to join our elite engineering team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a critical part in architecting mission-critical, scalable enterprise-grade applications, working alongside seasoned professionals in a collaborative, bureaucracy-free environment.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to and lead all phases of the software development lifecycle from concept to deployment.
- Write clean, well-designed, testable, and efficient Java code following industry best practices.
- Ensure that software designs strictly comply with business specifications and architectural standards.
- Prepare, manage, and produce seamless releases of critical software components.
- Drive continuous improvement by researching emerging technologies, evaluating alternatives, and presenting recommendations for architectural review.
- Proven hands-on software development experience with a strong focus on enterprise Java development.
- Extensive expertise in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms.
- Demonstrated mastery of Object-Oriented analysis, design, and common software design patterns.
- Profound understanding of Java and JEE internals, including memory management, classloading, and transaction management.
- Solid experience with relational databases, advanced SQL, and ORM technologies such as Hibernate and JPA2.
- Strong proficiency in the Spring Framework and popular web frameworks like Spring MVC.
- Active experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and maintaining robust code coverage.
