About the Role
Sterling Oil Exploration & Energy Production Company Limited (SEEPCO), a prominent player in petroleum exploration and production with a global footprint, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Senior HEMM Mechanic to join our dynamic operations in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will ensure the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy fleet, contributing directly to the success of our large-scale industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and complex repairs on Heavy Earth Moving Machines (HEMM).
- Service a diverse fleet including excavators, bulldozers, cranes, forklifts, swamp buggies, and wheel loaders.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults accurately and efficiently to minimize equipment downtime.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance checks and adhere to strict safety and quality standards on site.
- Maintain detailed service records of all maintenance activities, parts replacements, and equipment performance.
- Collaborate with the operations and logistics teams to prioritize equipment repairs based on project demands.
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience working on heavy earth moving machinery.
- Possession of valid Trade Tests 1, 2, and 3 is mandatory.
- Proven background within Mining & Quarrying, Construction & Civil Engineering, Logistics & Haulage, or Oil & Gas sectors will be an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a deep understanding of heavy machinery systems and safety protocols.
