About the Role
Helium Health is a full-service Healthtech company that provides a suite of solutions for healthcare providers, payers, and patients in emerging markets, at the core of which is our SaaS-based electronic medical records and hospital management information system. We are looking for a driven Senior Finance Analyst to collaborate with our Head of Finance in managing core accounting functions, financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic financial planning.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of monthly and quarterly management reports, performance metrics, trends, and profitability.
- Lead the month-end closing process, complete financial reports, and handle statutory compliance and tax returns.
- Develop robust financial models for investment opportunities, lending facilities, and strategic business initiatives.
- Monitor annual and monthly budgets, manage contract tracking tools, and handle monthly bank reconciliations.
- Support strategic planning by providing deep financial insights, conducting competitive analysis, and partnering cross-functionally.
- Process weekly payments, resolve accounting queries, and ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal policies.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline from a reputable institution.
- 3 to 6 years of relevant professional finance and accounting experience.
- Professional certifications such as ACA, CIMA, or ACCA are an added advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern cloud-based financial technologies.
- Proven expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and communicating complex financial data to stakeholders.
