About the Role
Garki Hospital Abuja (GHA), a premier 100-bed facility managed under a pioneering Public-Private Partnership with the FCTA, is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. Operating at the forefront of general and specialized medical services in the FCT, we require a seasoned financial professional to uphold our high standards of fiscal integrity, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial management.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee comprehensive financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting processes to support organizational goals.
- Manage treasury functions, account reconciliations, and cash flow to ensure optimal liquidity.
- Ensure strict adherence to applicable accounting standards and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders during audits and financial reviews.
- Utilize advanced ERP systems and accounting software to streamline financial operations.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Mandatory professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant, preferably ICAN or an equivalent recognized body.
- Minimum of 10 to 13 years of relevant post-professional qualification experience in accounting or financial management.
- Demonstrable expertise in financial analysis, treasury management, and account reconciliation.
- Proficiency in modern accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
