We are currently seeking a vigilant and professional Security Officer to join our premier security team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for maintaining the utmost safety and security of our esteemed guests, residents, staff, and high-end property. You will embody discretion, alertness, and exceptional customer service while upholding the highest security standards expected at an ultra-luxury establishment in Abuja.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor premises, high-value assets, and restricted zones using advanced surveillance systems and regular patrols.
- Control access points, verifying identities and screening visitors, contractors, and vehicles entering Velmonti Palace.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies, taking appropriate tactical and de-escalation measures.
- Provide a visible, reassuring security presence while maintaining a courteous, hospitality-oriented demeanor toward guests and VIP residents.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency response services when necessary.
- Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain comprehensive daily logs of all security-related activities.
- Enforce property safety policies, fire regulations, and access control protocols rigorously across the luxury residence.
- Possess relevant academic qualifications, security certifications, or previous military/paramilitary training.
- Proven professional experience working in security, preferably within luxury hotels, high-end residential estates, or corporate environments.
- Excellent observation skills with the ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional command of the English language.
