About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and vigilant Security Manager to oversee all hotel safety, security, fire-life safety, and loss-prevention operations in full compliance with Hyatt standards and Nigerian regulations, including NSCDC and Fire Service guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Manage 24/7 security operations, including patrols, CCTV monitoring, access control, and comprehensive asset protection.
- Lead emergency response, crisis management, and routine evacuation drills while maintaining fire safety systems.
- Ensure all contract security personnel are properly licensed by the NSCDC and operations comply with local labor laws.
- Recruit, train, and supervise in-house security officers and third-party contract guards.
- Coordinate specialized security protocols for VIP guests, high-profile events, conferences, and weddings.
- Submit detailed monthly security reports, risk assessments, and maintain accurate incident, CCTV, and key-control logs.
- 5 to 8 years of proven experience in security operations, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a managerial capacity with strong team-building skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of modern security systems, emergency procedures, and risk management frameworks.
- Relevant professional certifications in security management, fire safety, or first aid are highly advantageous.
- In-depth understanding of Nigerian regulatory frameworks related to safety, security, and labor.
