About the Role
The Nigerian Navy is currently seeking dedicated and disciplined individuals to serve as Seamen. Our vision is to emplace a well-trained, equipped, and highly motivated naval force capable of being deployed singly or in joint operations for the defense of Nigeria's maritime environment, regional troubled spots, and the Gulf of Guinea to ensure sustained economic prosperity. Key Responsibilities- Participate in maritime defense operations and patrols to secure territorial waters.
- Assist in the maintenance, operation, and navigation of naval vessels and equipment.
- Execute assigned tactical, security, and search-and-rescue missions effectively.
- Maintain high standards of physical fitness, discipline, and military readiness.
- Collaborate with other arms of service in joint security and peacekeeping operations.
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent with 5 credits, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Must be a Nigerian citizen of good character and sound physical health.
- Possess strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability skills.
- Must meet the age and height requirements stipulated by the Nigerian Navy recruitment guidelines.
