About the Role
Zam-Zam Islamic College, a prestigious private integrated Islamic and conventional educational institution located in Kano, Nigeria, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Nanny to join our dynamic early childhood education team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where young children can thrive academically, socially, and morally.
Key Responsibilities- Provide attentive, gentle, and reliable care for young children throughout the school day.
- Assist teachers with classroom management and maintain an orderly, safe learning environment.
- Support early childhood learning activities, social skill development, and daily routines.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children under your supervision at all times.
- Communicate effectively with teachers and parents regarding children's daily progress and needs.
- Foster a warm, inclusive, and Islamic-values-based atmosphere within the school community.
- Hold an NCE, B.A. Ed., or B.Ed. in Education or a related field.
- Demonstrate a genuine passion for working with and nurturing young children.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong classroom management abilities with a patient and empathetic approach.
