Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive guidance and counseling to students on academic, personal, social, and emotional matters.
- Support students in developing positive behavior, critical decision-making skills, and healthy interpersonal relationships.
- Identify students who require specialized support and implement appropriate, timely interventions.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school management to promote holistic student well-being.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and strictly confidential counseling records in alignment with school policies.
- Organize engaging guidance programs, workshops, and counseling sessions to foster personal and academic growth.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Guidance and Counselling, Counselling Psychology, Educational Psychology, or a related field.
- Relevant working experience in a secondary school setting is a distinct advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, listening, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with utmost professionalism and empathy.
- A sound, practical understanding of child safeguarding and student welfare best practices.
