About the Role
Dangote Group, one of Africa's most diversified business conglomerates, seeks an experienced SAP HCM Payroll Senior Consultant to join our SAP Delivery Center. You will lead the design, implementation, configuration, and support of SAP Human Capital Management solutions that align with business objectives and regulatory compliance requirements across our operations in Nigeria and beyond.
Key Responsibilities- Lead client engagement workshops to gather, analyze, and document detailed HCM business requirements
- Design and configure core SAP HCM modules including Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Time Management, and Payroll
- Develop and maintain SAP HCM schemas, personnel calculation rules, and wage type configurations
- Write functional specifications for custom developments and RICEF activities
- Manage comprehensive testing strategies including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing
- Lead data migration activities and design HR reports using SAP reporting tools
- Provide expert-level post-implementation support and conduct end-user training
- Act as lead consultant on SAP HCM projects, mentoring junior consultants and ensuring on-time, budget-conscious delivery
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, IT, or related field
- Minimum 8+ years as an SAP HCM Consultant with hands-on experience
- Proven track record of 3-4 full lifecycle SAP HCM implementations
- Deep expertise in PA, OM, TM, and Payroll modules
- Strong understanding of HR processes, best practices, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience with data migration and testing methodologies
- Preferred: SAP S/4HANA HCM experience, SAP certifications, ABAP knowledge
