About the Role
Mercy Whyte Salon is a premier, modern unisex beauty and grooming destination located in Lekki, Lagos. Positioned as a mindful luxury experience, the salon features sophisticated, automated interior designs catering to both men and women. We are currently looking for a meticulous and proactive Salon Housekeeper to ensure our upscale facility consistently reflects the highest standards of hygiene, elegance, and comfort for our esteemed clients and professional staff.
Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough daily cleaning and sanitization of the salon floor, styling stations, shampoo areas, and waiting lounges.
- Ensure restrooms, treatment rooms, and staff break areas are impeccably maintained, stocked, and sanitized throughout the day.
- Properly wash, dry, and fold salon towels, capes, and linens, ensuring a constant supply for stylists and technicians.
- Manage waste disposal and maintain general tidiness across all indoor and outdoor segments of the facility.
- Monitor cleaning supply inventory and promptly report shortages to management.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and sanitation protocols established by the salon.
- Minimum of OND, SSCE, or relevant academic qualification.
- Proven working experience as a housekeeper, cleaner, or similar hospitality role, preferably within a luxury spa, salon, or hotel environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills and a courteous, professional demeanor.
- Residing in or around Lekki, Lagos, or within accessible proximity.
