We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Rooms Division / Housekeeping Manager to join our esteemed team in Peter Odili, Port Harcourt, Rivers State. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of housekeeping operations and rooms management, ensuring that our properties consistently exceed guest expectations for cleanliness, comfort, and luxury.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping and rooms division departments.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with strict quality standards.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping and front-of-house staff to foster a high-performance culture.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities, managing procurement and controlling operational costs.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and special requests promptly and professionally to guarantee ultimate satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with maintenance and front desk teams to ensure seamless room turnovers and reporting of maintenance issues.
- Enforce strict health, safety, and sanitation protocols across all managed areas.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Proven professional experience working as a Housekeeping Manager or in a similar Rooms Division leadership role within the hospitality industry.
- Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail and cleanliness.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and basic computer applications.
