About the Role
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is a premier provider of outsourcing, technical staffing, and consultancy services to the Nigerian oil and gas industry. We are currently looking for a diligent and analytical Risk Management, Methods & Insurance Officer to join our dynamic corporate team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding company assets, ensuring robust operational compliance, and mitigating business vulnerabilities across our complex projects.
Key Responsibilities- Support the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of enterprise risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Identify, assess, and evaluate operational, financial, and contractual risks, maintaining an up-to-date corporate risk register.
- Coordinate all insurance activities, including policy renewals, premium payments, adequacy reviews, and comprehensive claims processing.
- Liaise proactively with insurance brokers, underwriters, and internal departments to ensure optimal protection of company assets and personnel.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments, prepare detailed periodic risk reports, and deliver insightful management presentations.
- Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, and internal corporate governance standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Actuarial Science, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in risk management, insurance administration, or corporate governance.
- Relevant professional certifications such as ACIIN, CII, PMI-RMP, FRM, or CRMP will be a distinct advantage.
- Prior working experience within the oil and gas industry or a comparable high-risk operating environment.
- Proficiency in risk assessment tools, Microsoft Office suite, and strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
