About the Role
Genesis Group, a leading Nigerian-owned Catering, Hospitality & Entertainment conglomerate, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Revenue Assurance Manager to join its finance leadership team. This role is critical to ensuring accurate revenue reporting, identifying leakages, and strengthening financial controls across our diverse business units, including Genesis Deluxe Cinemas, Genesis Centre, and our Industrial Catering & Housekeeping Management division. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical rigor, industry expertise, and a proven track record of driving revenue accuracy within fast-paced hospitality or food service environments.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement robust revenue assurance frameworks across all business units, including hotels, cinemas, restaurants, and shopping malls.
- Monitor revenue streams to identify leakages, discrepancies, or unusual patterns, and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct regular audits of billing, ticketing, POS, and payment systems to ensure accuracy and completeness of revenue capture.
- Collaborate with operations, finance, and IT teams to strengthen internal controls and reconciliation processes.
- Analyze financial data to detect trends, anomalies, and areas of potential revenue loss.
- Prepare detailed revenue assurance reports and present findings to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Support the design and implementation of automated revenue monitoring tools and dashboards.
- Provide training and guidance to relevant departments on best practices for revenue protection.
- Lead investigations into suspected revenue fraud or process failures and implement preventive measures.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in revenue assurance, financial control, or audit roles, preferably within top hospitality, food service, or entertainment brands.
- Certified member of ICAN (ACA) or ACCA is mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of revenue cycle management, financial reconciliation, and internal control systems.
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Must be resident in Port Harcourt or willing to relocate at own expense.
