About the Role

We are currently looking for a detail-oriented Revenue Accountant to ensure accurate and timely financial recognition in compliance with international standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and interpret revenue contracts and agreements while determining proper recognition criteria under GAAP and IFRS.
- Raise all revenue-related journals and ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting of financial data.
- Perform comprehensive reconciliations of revenue accounts and customer wallets, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
- Collaborate with sales, customer service, and central cross-functional teams to resolve issues and streamline financial operations.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff while identifying opportunities for process improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Mandatory professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in revenue accounting or a closely related financial role.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills capable of engaging effectively with C-level executives.
- Proficiency in major accounting software like SAP or Oracle NetSuite, with added advantage given for big data handling and AI tool knowledge.
