About the Role
Eterna Plc, a leading energy company in West Africa and the exclusive licensee for Castrol products, is seeking a results-driven and proactive Retail Station Manager for our retail outlet in Ikom. In this vital role, you will be responsible for overseeing seamless station operations, optimizing the utilization of human and material resources, and aggressively driving sales of PMS, AGO, Lubricants, and Gas. You will champion excellent customer service delivery while strictly maintaining Eterna Plc’s operational standards, policies, and stringent health, safety, and environmental (HSE) guidelines. Key Responsibilities- Drive revenue growth and profitability across all product lines (PMS, AGO, Gas, and Lubricants) in alignment with approved company budgets and strategic targets.
- Oversee daily retail station operations, rigorously monitoring sales, meter readings, tank dipping, stock movement, and cash lodgements for absolute accuracy.
- Implement robust stock management and product replenishment controls to minimize inventory shrinkage, cash variances, and potential fraudulent activities.
- Enforce strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and company operational policies while fostering a secure environment.
- Supervise, train, and motivate station personnel, fostering a collaborative culture and effectively resolving customer feedback and complaints.
- Minimum of an HND or B.Sc. degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
- Possess 2 to 4 years of proven relevant experience in retail management, sales, or downstream petroleum station operations.
- Demonstrated track record of high integrity, accountability, and ethical conduct in managing financial transactions and stock.
- Strong background in marketing and proactive sales generation within a competitive retail environment.
- Exceptional analytical capabilities, organizational proficiency, high attention to detail, and the ability to thrive both independently and within a team.
- Mandatory residency in Ikom or willingness to relocate immediately to the job location.
