Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee comprehensive cost monitoring, budgeting, and cost control across assigned construction projects.
  • Conduct accurate measurement and valuation of construction works on-site.
  • Evaluate and manage contractor claims, interim payment applications, and valuations in a timely manner.
  • Review Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and contract documents to mitigate financial risks.
  • Track, assess, and negotiate project variations and extra-work orders.
  • Prepare detailed cost and commercial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Manage the preparation of final accounts and facilitate smooth project close-out procedures.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of proven professional experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction or real estate industry.
  • Mandatory registration with the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS) and/or Quantity Surveyors Registration Board of Nigeria (QSRBN).
  • In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, procurement strategies, and financial management software.
  • Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
