Workforce Group is currently recruiting a dynamic and seasoned Resident Quantity Surveyor on behalf of our esteemed client in the real estate and construction sector. Key Responsibilities- Oversee comprehensive cost monitoring, budgeting, and cost control across assigned construction projects.
- Conduct accurate measurement and valuation of construction works on-site.
- Evaluate and manage contractor claims, interim payment applications, and valuations in a timely manner.
- Review Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and contract documents to mitigate financial risks.
- Track, assess, and negotiate project variations and extra-work orders.
- Prepare detailed cost and commercial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Manage the preparation of final accounts and facilitate smooth project close-out procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of proven professional experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction or real estate industry.
- Mandatory registration with the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS) and/or Quantity Surveyors Registration Board of Nigeria (QSRBN).
- In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, procurement strategies, and financial management software.
