About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic Release and Configuration Manager to join our technology team in Lagos on a hybrid work model, playing a vital role in our ongoing digital transformation and service delivery excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and manage software releases across multiple environments, ensuring seamless alignment with business and technology priorities.
- Oversee configuration baselines, maintain configuration repositories, and ensure accurate, up-to-date documentation of all system changes.
- Collaborate closely with development, quality assurance, and operations teams to monitor release risks, resolve issues promptly, and implement industry best practices.
- Continuously improve release processes, enforce strict governance standards, and provide robust support for audit and compliance requirements.
- Manage multiple concurrent releases, track deployment schedules, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related technical field.
- Proven professional experience in Release Management and Software Configuration Management within complex enterprise environments.
- Strong background in software development, enabling effective collaboration with engineering teams and a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Demonstrated analytical skills to assess release impacts, troubleshoot configuration discrepancies, and drive data-driven process improvements.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems such as Git, and IT service management frameworks like ITIL.
- Prior experience within the banking or financial services sector, alongside a strong understanding of regulatory and security requirements, is highly advantageous.
