About the Role
Accentcare Home Health Services is a leading home care agency based in Lagos, Nigeria, dedicated to providing compassionate caregivers and skilled private nurses to families across Lagos and other states. We pride ourselves on delivering professional, high-quality healthcare support in both hospital settings and private homes for individuals recovering from surgery, managing chronic illnesses, or requiring specialized elderly care. We are currently looking for a passionate and qualified Registered Nurse to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive skilled nursing care including wound care, IV treatments, and vital signs monitoring.
- Administer medications accurately and assist with prescribed physiotherapy routines and ambulation.
- Provide attentive personal care support such as bed bathing, hygiene assistance, and adult or infant diaper changes.
- Assist with daily nutrition by supporting meal planning, preparation, and patient feeding.
- Accompany patients to doctor appointments and handle light errands related to patient welfare.
- Educate patients and their families on healthy lifestyle choices and ongoing care management.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and maintain close, continuous health monitoring.
- Must be a fully Registered Nurse with a valid practicing license from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
- Minimum of 1-3 years of clinical or home health nursing experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and empathy skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain high standards of patient confidentiality.
- Must reside in Lagos or be willing to commute as required.
