About the Role
Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitizing Africa's real economy by providing robust payment, banking, and business management tools. We are looking for a dedicated Regional Security Officer to join our team in Enugu and ensure the safety of our personnel, offices, and assets.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and monitor comprehensive security policies across regional offices and facilities.
- Supervise, train, and mentor private security personnel and law enforcement details.
- Conduct regular security risk assessments and vulnerability audits to proactively address potential threats.
- Serve as the primary liaison with local law enforcement, emergency services, and community stakeholders.
- Lead investigations into security breaches or incidents, delivering factual and actionable reports.
- Manage automated security systems, including CCTV surveillance and access control technologies.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience leading security teams in a physical security organization or as an ex-commissioned military, police, or paramilitary supervisor.
- Bachelor's degree in Criminology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, or CPO are required.
- Proficiency in local dialects spoken within the Enugu region to facilitate community engagement.
