About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and proactive Regional Security Officer to oversee our security operations in Ekiti. In this role, you will act as the guardian of our physical spaces, ensuring a safe, secure, and stable environment where our team and operations can thrive without disruption.
Key Responsibilities- Safeguard employees, offices, and equipment by implementing comprehensive regional security policies.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and design innovative risk-mitigation strategies.
- Supervise, mentor, and coordinate private security guards and armed police personnel.
- Serve as the primary liaison with local law enforcement and emergency services.
- Lead investigations into security breaches and accidents, delivering clear and actionable reports.
- Develop and deliver training programs on safety protocols for regional staff and security teams.
- Maintain and optimize automated security systems, including CCTV and access control technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Criminology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience leading security teams in physical security companies or as an ex-commissioned service personnel supervisor in the military, police, or paramilitary.
- Recognized security certifications such as CPP, PSP, or CPO.
- Proficiency in local dialects spoken in the assigned region.
- Demonstrated experience working with automated security systems like CCTV and alarm setups.
- A clean criminal record and ability to pass rigorous background checks.
