About the Role
Westbridge Energy and Lubricants is a dynamic and growing oil service and manufacturing company specializing in high-quality lubricant blending and processing. We are seeking a dedicated Refinery Production Officer to join our manufacturing plant in Mowe, Ogun State. In this vital role, you will oversee daily production activities, operate processing equipment, monitor critical parameters, and ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations to drive efficiency and minimize waste.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor production equipment including pumps, mixers, reactors, conveyors, separators, and packaging machines.
- Manage start-up, shutdown, and adjustments of machinery strictly adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor process variables such as temperature, pressure, flow rates, and product quality specifications.
- Conduct routine facility inspections to identify equipment abnormalities, potential hazards, and maintenance needs.
- Accurately record production data, equipment readings, and operational activities.
- Ensure raw materials are readily available and transferred safely for continuous production.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards and participate in preventive maintenance and equipment changeovers.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, refinery, blending, or processing, with specific experience in an edible oil refinery.
- Strong knowledge of production preparations, equipment operation, and process control systems.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and exceptional safety awareness.
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for extended periods, lift approved materials, and work rotating shifts including nights and weekends.
- Must reside in or around Mowe, Ogun State, and its environs.
