About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and quality-driven Quality Control Officer to join our client's Feed Mill operations in Ibadan. This role is ideal for a candidate with hands-on Feed Mill experience who is passionate about maintaining consistent product quality and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards throughout the production process.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct in-process quality inspections throughout the feed production process
- Collect and test raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished feed products according to established quality standards
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality specifications and standard operating procedures
- Identify quality deviations and promptly report non-conforming products or production issues
- Carry out routine quality checks on feed ingredients, mash, pellets, and finished products
- Accurately record inspection results and prepare detailed quality control reports
- Ensure production activities comply with food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements
- Support investigations into quality complaints and recommend appropriate corrective actions
- Minimum of SSCE qualification
- 2–3 years of proven experience in Quality Control/In-Process Testing within a Feed Mill is mandatory
- Good understanding of feed manufacturing processes
- Sound knowledge of feed ingredients, quality standards, and production procedures
- Ability to identify quality defects and recommend effective corrective actions
- Strong record-keeping and reporting skills
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to work shifts as required
- Must reside in Ibadan or be willing to relocate
