Quality Control Officer (Feed Mill)

About the Role

Ascentech Services Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and quality-driven Quality Control Officer to join our client's Feed Mill operations in Ibadan. This role is ideal for a candidate with hands-on Feed Mill experience who is passionate about maintaining consistent product quality and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards throughout the production process.

• Conduct in-process quality inspections throughout the feed production process
• Collect and test raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished feed products according to established quality standards
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality specifications and standard operating procedures
• Identify quality deviations and promptly report non-conforming products or production issues
• Carry out routine quality checks on feed ingredients, mash, pellets, and finished products
• Accurately record inspection results and prepare detailed quality control reports
• Ensure production activities comply with food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements
• Support investigations into quality complaints and recommend appropriate corrective actions

• Minimum of SSCE qualification
• 2–3 years of proven experience in Quality Control/In-Process Testing within a Feed Mill is mandatory
• Good understanding of feed manufacturing processes
• Sound knowledge of feed ingredients, quality standards, and production procedures
• Ability to identify quality defects and recommend effective corrective actions
• Strong record-keeping and reporting skills
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to work shifts as required
• Must reside in Ibadan or be willing to relocate
