About the Role

Key Responsibilities- Ensure all processing areas and the laboratory maintain optimal sanitary conditions at all times.
- Execute internal equipment calibrations and provide prompt status reports on all operational tools.
- Track periodic quality and food safety objectives for the department and factory.
- Manage laboratory reagents, consumables, and lead compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), 5S, HACCP, and environmental health policies.
- Conduct comprehensive laboratory analyses for water, raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
- Lead process improvement initiatives, shelf-life stability studies, and validation protocols.
- Handle non-conforming products, deviation reports, and reduction of Non-Quality Costs (NQC).
- Drive recipe compliance, adherence to blending plans, and food safety culture training.
- HND or BSc in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 5 years of progressive quality assurance experience within the food, beverage, or culinary processing sector.
- Strong ability to interpret industry specifications, standards, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency in root-cause analysis with exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
