About the Role
HelloMe Limited, an innovative UK Neo-Banking financial institution providing Banking as a Service (BaaS), is looking for a dynamic QA Tester & Project Coordinator to join our growing cross-border FinTech team. In this hybrid role, you will leverage both conventional QA methodologies and cutting-edge AI-powered tools to ensure our software products meet the highest functional, security, and business standards while keeping our development projects on track.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize AI-powered testing tools to generate comprehensive test cases, edge cases, and support test automation.
- Perform rigorous functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for web and mobile applications, focusing on cross-border payments, digital wallets, and FX transactions.
- Conduct API testing using Postman to validate third-party integrations, transaction processing, and reconciliation workflows.
- Coordinate software projects from planning to deployment, tracking sprint timelines, deliverables, and facilitating cross-functional communication.
- Maintain detailed test cases, defect logs, and prepare release readiness reports for stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of practical experience in Software Quality Assurance, testing, or quality engineering within FinTech or financial services.
- Demonstrated experience using AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, or GitHub Copilot) to support testing and defect analysis.
- Proficiency with API testing tools (Postman) and project management platforms like Jira or Trello.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum workflows, REST APIs, JSON, and financial data security.
