About the Role
Benmaris Limited, a premier wholly-owned Nigerian engineering and construction services provider, is seeking a dedicated and experienced QA/QC & HSE Manager to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain comprehensive project quality plans, inspection and test plans, hold points, and acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate receipt inspections for equipment arriving internationally and manage non-conformance reports through to final closure.
- Conduct risk-based site surveillance and oversee designated hold and witness points.
- Implement the project HSE plan, including safety inductions, permit-to-work systems, risk assessments, lifting safety, and emergency response procedures.
- Maintain incident, near-miss, and corrective-action registers while verifying that all corrective actions are promptly closed.
- Coordinate with process-safety specialists and OEMs on hazard studies, safeguards, and readiness for hazardous-fluid introduction.
- Maintain environmental and social compliance records and actively promote stop-work authority across the entire site.
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, HSE, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of combined QA/QC and HSE experience working on oil and gas, process, or industrial construction projects.
- Recognised HSE certification such as NEBOSH or IOSH; QA/QC inspector certifications (e.g., CSWIP, ASNT, API) will be a distinct advantage.
- Thorough working knowledge of process safety, permit-to-work systems, hazardous-area classifications, and pressure system requirements.
