About the Role
Monarch Techno Engineering Solutions (MTES) is looking for a highly skilled Project Planners / Controls Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with extensive experience in project planning, controls and coordination within the Oil & Gas, EPC, and Pipeline industries. You will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities- Develop, monitor and update project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project
- Coordinate project planning, execution, monitoring and reporting activities across all phases
- Manage contractors, vendors and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project delivery
- Track project progress, identify schedule variances and recommend corrective actions
- Oversee material and logistics coordination to support uninterrupted project execution
- Implement and maintain document control systems, including EDMS platforms
- Support cost control processes and prepare accurate progress and cost reports
- Liaise with stakeholders, contractors and site teams to ensure alignment on project goals
- Ensure all site activities comply with safety, quality and regulatory standards
- Provide regular status updates and reports to project management and leadership
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in project management and controls within Oil & Gas, EPC or Pipeline projects
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Industrial Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in onshore or offshore pipeline, plant or infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of project execution, monitoring, reporting and site coordination
- Demonstrated experience managing contractors, vendors and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and project controls/scheduling tools
- Familiarity with cost control, reporting, and document control systems (e.g., EDMS)
- Strong stakeholder and contractor management capabilities
