About the Role
TECO Limited, a premier provider of innovative engineering solutions across Nigeria, is looking for a dynamic Project Officer (Mechanical Engineering) to join our growing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical engineering projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in comprehensive project planning, scheduling, and execution of mechanical engineering projects
- Coordinate with engineers, technicians, contractors, and vendors to guarantee smooth project implementation
- Monitor project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and budgets closely
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, reports, and progress updates
- Support procurement and logistics coordination for essential project materials and equipment
- Ensure strict compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and company policies
- Track project performance proactively and escalate potential risks or delays
- Facilitate seamless communication between internal technical teams and external stakeholders
- Participate in site visits, inspections, and project meetings as required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field
- 2 to 5 years of proven experience in project coordination or engineering project management
- Prior experience in a mechanical engineering, manufacturing, construction, or technical services environment
- Proficiency in project management software, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Excel
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in fluent English
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilities
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from N350,000 to N450,000
